KWIKSTAT 4.1 - Statistical Data Analysis for DOS

KWIKSTAT 4.1 Basic Edition allows you to analyze and graph business and scientific data. KWIKSTAT was a 1992 SIA winner for "Best Mathematical or Engineering Program." It was created by and is maintained and supported by professional statistical consultants. Over 12,000 registered copies have been sold in 60+ countries. Noted computer journalist Dr. Michael Callahan calls it "The Ultimate in Statistics, no program I've seen beats KWIKSTAT." Dr. James Schlesselman of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine calls KWIKSTAT "the simplest and most intuitive system I've tried." Technical journalist John Sweeny says, "KWIKSTAT is God's answer to SPSS. It's simple to use, fast, cheap and powerful."

Interface - A mouse-aware pull-down menu interface contains selections for data management, analysis options and helps. An on-screen tutorial teaches you how to run the program, and a decision tree helps you decide what analysis is best for a particular data set or experiment. Native KWIKSTAT data files are dBASE III and dBASE IV compatible. It will also import Lotus 1-2-3, ASCII and comma delimited files and will export SDF ASCII files, SAS DATA code, and data reports.

Descriptive Statistics - Mean, standard deviation, variance, median, minimum, maximum, standard error of the mean, coefficient of variation, percentiles, Tukey 5 number summary, user specified confidence interval about the mean, by-group means on up to 1000 groups, and more.

Graphs - Bar, area, line, dot and pie charts, boxplots, histogram, scatterplot, time series plots, two and three dimensional bar charts, XYZ "spin" plot, stem-and-leaf display, interaction plots, and more.

Comparative Tests - Independent group and paired t-tests, Independent group and repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA), Dunnett's test, non-parametric comparative tests (Mann-Whitney, Kruskal Wallis, Freidman's, McNemar, Cochran's Q), Tukey (HSD), Newman Keuls, and Scheffé multiple comparison procedures, etc.

Correlation and Regression - Pearson's and Spearman's correlations, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, R-Square, prediction, residual plots, correlation matrix, scatterplot matrix, etc.

Frequencies and Crosstabulations - Goodness of fit, frequency distribution, crosstabulations, chi-square, odds ratio, relative risk, Fisher's exact test, Yate's correction, Phi, Cramer's V, Contingency Coefficient.

Survival Analysis - Actuarial, Kaplan-Meier, and Mantel-Haenzel comparison of surivial curves.

Other Features - Data Generation and simulations, data sorting, extensive data transformations, and more.
